Today was another great day and were back on the cost!! Todays milage was on the shorter side but the climbing was on the longer side. The weather was nice and cool for the climbs but got colder as we got back to the cost and was overcast all day.

The day started with a 2-mile warm up on flat ground and then a 4.2 mile climb up Leggett hill on highway 1. We were rewarded with a 10-mile downhill that was fast with many curves and we all got down safely. There was another 3.5-mile climb after the 10-mile downhill that seemed harder to climb then the fist one. We rode through heavy forested areas and there were no services until we got to the cost.

We were soon back ridding down the Pacific coast, and we stopped a few times to take photos and to take in the views. We also had several short but steep climbs to ride over before reaching are camp sites at Mackerricher State Park.
