We are now just past the halfway point in both days and miles!!!
It was another fantastic day on the bike. We had great weather, sunny and warm all day and got up in the mid 80’s by early afternoon. We continued to ride inland, and we rode on and off 101 all day and we continued to ride through the Avenue of the Giants early in the day. Today the milage was shorter but with a lot more elevation gain. We rode mostly uphill and had many small but tough climbs and stopped for longer breaks through the day. We rode through several small towns with old buildings and signage it was like stepping back in time.
Riding through the Redwood Forest has been amazing but tomorrow we head back to the cost after riding top of a large hill which will be the highest point on the Pacific Cost trail.
