This will be my 4th long distance bike tour. My first tour was with CrossRoads Adventure Cycling and was in 2006. This was a van supported tour ridding from Santa Monica, CA to Boston, MA with a distance of ~3,400 miles.
My 2nd tour was with America by Bicycle in 2011, also a van supported tour, ridding from Astoria, OR to Portsmouth, NH with a distance of ~3,600 miles.
My 3rd tour was with Adventure Cycling Association in 2016. This was a self-contained bike tour (we carried all our gear on the bike with no support vans) ridding from Williamsburg, VA to Florence, OR with a distance of 4,400 miles over 93 days.
This tour we will also be with Adventure Cycling Association and is another van supported tour. We will be ridding down the Pacific Coast from the Canadian border to the Mexican border with a distance of ~1,900 miles over 41 days.
Our group will be meeting up on 9/10 in Bellingham Washington and will start the tour on 9/11 at the Canadian boarder.
