Today we had a 57 mile ride with ~2,700 ft of elevation.  The weather was a bit cooler than yesterday with overcast skies and warmed up in the afternoon with sunny skies.  I rode with Scott and Mac agin.  We started about 8:30am and finished ~2:30pm.  The ride stared on busy roads but we soon turned off onto roads with a lot less traffic.  We mostly through heavy forest that was on both sides of the roads and through some small towns.  The scenery was very nice, but the roads were a bit rough with little shoulders to ride on.  We had several hills to climb and I made to up all of them except for one that was just to steep for me to ride up.  

We all share cooking duties and it was my turn to cook.  I'm teamed up with another rider named Grant and we made pasta with tomato cream sauce.  We also had left over veggie chilly and a nice green salad.  So far no one is going hungry and we usually make more food then we can all eat.  Grant and I have to get up early tomorrow to make coffee and setup breakfast and lunch items.

Tonight  we are camping at Elma RV park.  Tomorrow we have another 57 mile day but with a lot less climbing.  We will be staying inside in a bunk house at the Lewis & Clark State Park, WA
