Day 10 Day off in Astoria, OR (Astoria/Warrenton KOA)

Days left to ride: 31
Today was a well-deserved day off. Our tour lead set up a shuttle service using our van to take use to and from Astoria and I was shuttled in at 9am along with Mac, Scott, Linda, Steve, and Mercedes. Mac and Linda brought their bikes to a bike shop to have some work done. Linda was able to get what she needed done, but unfortunately Mac did not.
We walked around town for a while and got coffee and pastries at a bakery. It was good to stretch the legs. Most of us got a bowel of clam chowder to bring back to camp for lunch, which was very good. When got back to camp just after noon. We all had different chores to do like laundry, bike cleaning, and organizing our stuff. Later in the day Scott and I walked down to a very old shipwreck at nearby state park beach.
We wrapped the day up by ordering pizza delivered to our camp site. It was a good relaxing day.
